You are here: Home > Information > How to use Wax Beads

Experiment with Scent - use wax beads to create your own unique fragrances and eye-catching displays.

How to use Wax Beads:

1.  Select Container

Use your imagination and select any non-flammable container - glass, metal, ceramic, stone etc. Be creative by using your existing bowl, planters, vases etc. from around the house or garden. Containers should be a minimum of 2" (5cm) deep.

2.  Locate your wicks

Place your wick(s) into the container you have chosen. We would suggest that for a single wick, you place the wick approximately 2" (5cm) from the edge of the container. If you are using multiple wicks, you should ensure that the wicks are also 2" (5cm) from each other.

3.  Pour Wax Beads

Single colours, multiple colours, blended colours the choice is yours. Pour the wax beads into your chosen container around the wick(s), to a depth of at least 2" (5cm).

4.  Light Candle

Trim the wicks so that only 1/4" (7mm) of the wick(s) shows above the level of your wax beads. Light the wick(s), sit back and enjoy your creation.

5.  Remove used portion(s) and remake

After use, allow the wax to cool and set. Lift out the used portion of your wax beads, add a new wick and you have a fresh candle ready for use.

Express Yourself

Wax Beads can be mixed to create different visual effects and different scent combinations. You are limited only by your imagination.
